Untouchable Memories
Untouchable Memories
memories don’t just die
anywhere
they linger and rise; here
touch me; they say
to give a ride and take you away
however hard you try; to stay
drops of blood; spread
like butter on bread
toasted to taste; bled
words yet unsaid
hung themselves unheard
unspoken; let alone read
among the grains; soil eroding
the flood fled; fleeting
while memories kept the grass; floating
to wherever it flies; it glides
untouchable; up in the skies
roasted to darkness; in star lights
