Unlocking Eritrea: A research Seminar in London

Dear colleagues,

Please join the Eritrea Research Network for the first in a series of research seminars on Eritrea. This first seminar will mark Eritrea’s silver Jubilee.

25 years into independence, thousands of Eritreans cross into neighbouring Sudan and Ethiopia each month. Many continue through the Sahara desert and across the Mediterranean to seek asylum in Europe. The seminar will explore the experiences of Eritrean asylum seekers and refugees from various perspectives.

The objective of the seminar series and the Eritrea Research Network is to bring researchers working on Eritrea together to share experiences and findings and provide an opportunity to present these to a wider audience.
